When it comes to cleaning there are endless topics about how to clean your home, How to clean your office, and more But today what I came across was very interesting trivia facts through Pinterest.

I figured out I would share 8 of the most interesting ones I came across, because who doesn’t like some fun fact trivia?!

Apart from the dishes, you can unknowingly put a lot of unwanted stuff in the dishwasher and that would lead to the spread of germs.

Once a month or so, dump a dozen ice cubes in your garbage disposal. This sharpens the blades and eliminates any trapped grease.

7. Smelly vacuums

If your vacuum is starting to smell a little musty, drop some citrus or peppermint essential oil mixed with isopropyl in the canister and on the filters.

8. The most disturbing fact

To me, the most disgusting fact about cleaning was learning what dust is compiled of.

Dust in the home is a particle composed of 80% human skin cells along with fibers from clothes and bedding… along with outside particles like soil. Dust can irritate allergies and asthma. So make sure you stay on top of dusting!
